Not unexpected question. More of the behavioral question. Case study used to test presentation skills. Those who got an interview through the employee referral had an advantage for "Case study" assignment since it had not been changed for the last 4 years.

In my case, as I had some experience in the field, I was asked to talk about a project, to talk a bit about the company, type of transactions, functions and risks as well as why it was used one TP method and not the other. (but this is only because I worked in the field for another big 4)
