One component of the Quizlet interview process I really enjoyed was a take home project that asked me to put together showcasing my ability to think through a hypothetical product problem. Unlike a lot of companies that ask candidates to essentially do free work, this exercise had nothing to do with Quizlet, which also meant that it was tailored to ensure the best possible assessment of my skillset. Quizlet also instructed me to spend no more than a few hours on the project, which I greatly appreciated as it made it easier to budget my time.

Most of the questions were pretty standard (tell me some product development experiences you had; tell me about some research you did, business plans you created, etc.). However, one interviewer turned the interview into a VC pitch instead of an interview: here's $25 million; give me a new business plan.
