Why don't you have a grant or project? was the only question asked in a 2-minute interview. Saveetha Engineering is a useless place. Never go there. The HR lady is a stupid moron who doesn't know the importance of having corresponding author papers. She asks only for first author papers. Saveetha runs a scam by hiring ghost authors and adda publications to its tally. I went for interview in Biochemistry and the stupid HR made all of us (all disciplines) wait from 9 am till 2-3 pm. And then the unprofessional interview of just two minutes.... those morons don't want quality or knowledge - they just want to hire candidates who just submitted their thesis, pay as low as possible and get maximum benefit.... papers. it rains papers... and perhaps all of it is toilet paper material. People, when pressurized to publish, will fabricate data and manufacture papers. Saveetha Engineering is the worst place I have ever been to for an interview in my lifetime!!! Avoid this place like the plague.
