Some of the things you can do to market a property include online advertising, local advertising, onsite advertising, and approaching businesses or other organizations directly.

Question #2: How will you choose individuals or companies to take care of maintenance and repair work in the property?

How to answer: Tell your potential employer that you'll do proper research, compare prices, read reviews and references, and assign test orders. By monitoring and supervising the workers, you'll eventually find the right candidate for each given area.

Question #3: A tenant has been late with their payment for two consecutive months. What will you do?

How to answer: This question seeks to test your problem-solving skills. Let your interviewer know that you'll pay the tenant a visit in person and politely ask them if they're experiencing any problems. Depending on the reason for the late payments, you may change the payment schedule or just give a friendly warning.

None - really, the whole interview seemed to flow naturally out of what the job actually entailed and what they could reasonably expect someone of my experience level to know. There were no tests, but resume fluffers beware, they WILL root that out. One example was " have you worked with HAP payments? What are the differences between housing vouchers and project based section 8, in your experience? You would not need to answer a question like that in all PM interviews, but if you come in with a resume that says you should know that answer, you should know it. They are very kind but not at all gullible.
