When interviewing for a Salesforce developer position, prepare to demonstrate your knowledge of working with the interface and how you've allowed sales teams to be more productive in their job responsibilities.
I was asked to give an example of a business problem I have needed to solve, walking through how I approached the problem as well as how I resolved it. The focus was on how I think and ability to reach a desirable outcome as opposed to being a very technical discussion.
Without giving too much away, the technical questions had to do with showing the way you would troubleshoot different user-reported issues or error messages, with some specifically related to NPSP settings and quirks.
