Interview questions are pretty standard. No difficult leetcode like questions, however there are some general behavioral scenarios they like to talk about. Overall, company is added to my "never apply to again" list because they ghosted me after a full round of interviews which I consider to be disrespectful and a waste of my time. Recruiter didn't even bother to answer follow up emails. I at least expect an automated rejection email nowadays.
Technical exercise was to build an app to surface a UI with data queried from a third-party API. I like this format as I was able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and initiative without intense time pressure. In the interview, we talked through the solution in terms of tool choices, design, testing, and how certain trickier parts were implemented.
Build a factory floor diagram to move cars through an assembly line
1. What’s the difference between using position: absolute and position: relative on a element in CSS? 2. How would you go about extending a form control or a component in Angular? 3. If you have a web app open in multiple browser tabs, how can you keep the state synchronized between them—so that an update in one tab reflects in all the others? 4. Can you describe the most challenging technical issue you’ve faced and how you went about solving it? 5. What are some best practices you follow when writing unit tests? 6. Code challenge: Given an array like [-1, -1, 2, 3, -1], how would you extract the unique negative values and return their sum?
Debug a 500 error and a few UI errors
