Very straight forward questions trying to get a handle on your understanding of the discipline and your ability to be successful in the role. Questions focused on strengths, weaknesses, etc but seemed to want to understand if you could fit in their culture. There were not any sort of cute or uncomfortable questions. I give Kudos to all involved in this process.

Do you have any customer service experience? Can you explain a time when you had to push a sale, what did you do and what was the outcome? What is your passion in life? What do you enjoy about working in a supermarket?
Tell me about a time where you had to change the way you worked, tell me a time when you had to provide feedback, tell me a time where you challenged someone at work, why Waitrose, how would you ensure stock levels are maintained, if a customer asked you about a product what would you tell them.
