We all had 6 sheets with colleague's skills and work that needed doing that day and had to designate work to each colleague. Then, hilarious, an added scenario, a Seagull flies into the shop, what would you do?? The whole process felt like it was for a higher position than a shop assistant. The person that got the position was a Manager of a Charity Shop. The rest of us had an email saying we would be put on the 'favourites list' so we wouldn't have to apply online again. I really feel that I couldn't go through that whole group interview and one to one, being graded by points, not on personality and experience. Producing a chart showing how the work is distributed to each shop assistant. Isn't that a Manager's job? The other people there were intelligent and experienced and would have made great employees too (this isn't just about me not getting the job).
