Per case interview, they are mostly related to fields of your target industry/functional concentration. My only open ended case question was, "I have $10k to invest in a Subway; should I do it?"
Years ago when I was interview, there were no "critical thinking" consulting questions like how many tennis balls can you fit on a school bus. Just your typical "tell me about a time when" stuff.
Technical questions - that as a management consultant you may not have an understanding. Don't say in your resume you're an "expert" in something unless you're ready to back it up
