Only Technical Questions were difficult
"What is the difference between a list and a set?"
There were two arrays containing numbers you have to sort them and merge both array without using any collection,just use basic data structure.
A lot of the tasks and assignments given to me were not in my previous knowledge, so I had to pick up the new knowledge on my own. For instance, I had no clue how to develop a dialog based MFC application, but I managed to understand it and started developing in just three weeks.
No difficult questions. I came to the conclusion that the hiring manager had no ideas on what products they were going to develop. Was very evasive when I asked questions.
While waiting for my telephone interview and sitting here for 23 minutes, I went on GlassDoor.com and researched the company. It turns out the company is notorious for being late on telephone interviews and I have read over some very bad experiences from other candidates.
The only big surprise was in the first test. I thougt it would be only about Java, but there were some SQL questions and I wasn't prepared for that.
