There weren't any particularly unexpected questions. The style was conversational--tell me about yourself, your background, why you are interested in the position, etc.
- Please walk me through your resume and educational background that are relevant (this became a bit of a conversation and we spent good 10-15 minutes discussing this) - Describe a research project and your role - What do you like about ABC? - what is your plan for your career in the next few years? (implied how the firm wants to keep the talent for long-term) - interest/preference in qualitative vs quantitative work? (to use to match my skills with roles) - expected/desired start date? (and also double checking that it'll be in Washington DC) - desired salary if possible? - Questions for me?
