At the end of 5.5 hours of interviews at various levels with various (mixed tech/non-tech) audiences (with more than 10 people) I was given a chance to ask questions about the role (with just 10 minutes left). I asked: "What are the company's expectations for this role?" ... asked because the role is about taking a leadership role in pivoting a product to a service and I needed to know how far up the corporate structures I would have to persuade in order to get a service delivered.
