Mostly behavioral questions and questions about my resume/college since this was an entry level position at an accounting firm where there is an expectation that a lengthy onboarding period is usually necessary.
Phone Interview: (1/2 hour) Interviewer - Manager 1. How do u tackle conflict in a team? Describe a scenario 2. Have you ever worked with a person from different background 3. Have you ever handled a challenging position and how did you approach it 4. What are the responsibilities of your position All behavioral questions back to back Pre-interview reception: (2 hours) Very casual and comfortable environment. You get to meet all the candidates and some PwC employees. It help you at the assessment center because you are no more new to the environment. Make sure you are interactive throughout the reception PPTC: Introduction Round and Breakfast - Name and fun fact about yourself 1. Logical Reasoning (40 questions in 20 minutes) - Next shape in a sequence of shapes Time is the key 2. Partner Interview (45 minutes) - Casual interview to know if the candidate is actually passionate about the job and if it is the right fit for the candidate as well for the employer Tip: Be yourself Lunch Break 3. Group Assessment (50 minutes) - Every candidate in a team of 6 is given a document that contains information about a prospective deal that PwC want to take a decision on. Also, everyone has a separate case to represent. But the team has to unanimously take a decision on one final case based on the risks,profit and other aspects. 20 minutes to read the documentation and note down your points, 30 minutes to discuss among the team members and finalize Tip: Listen to others but don't be silent. They are checking your team-work skills. 4. Written Exercise (50 minutes) - Each candidate is asked to write a report of 1-2 pages based on the scenario allocated. Scenario is - 'your manager has given you some survey results, emails and general viewpoints' that provide pros and cons of 4 options. You have to discuss the pros and cons of each option and recommend either one of the options or a combination of more than one. Tip: Dont waste time taking notes on paper, start writing directly in a word document because the time is the key here as well.
