The written test is quite basic and diverse, so that you can get points regardless of your previous experience (Math, CS, Economics, Finance). In the interviews things get trickier and I was asked several questions about variational calculus, in which I had little to no experience.

some basic math calculation and clock stuff (angle of 3.15 and first minute and hour hand overlap after 3.00), write report about impact of electrification of transport in UK, what's balancing settlement, what is cobblestone doing, and then some question about the electricity market (would u bid or not whats ur strategy given a certain scenario) and some other stuff i forgot
technical question
Questions on time series,empirical methods,derivatives,fixed income, options pricing,stochastic calculus were tested upon.
