The interviewer was so friendly and was asking the ui designing process, ideas about latest trends, how you give a thought process to particular scenario etc. questions. It was so good to give an interview with the person. because at some point he was also suggesting how the things can be made better

Didn't ask me anything – just a bunch of SAT/IQ questions before they would speak to me about the position.
They asked me to tell me one thing that went wrong in a previous project / experience and how I dealt with it
An early (and important in my opinion) question was where I begin with designs. Other questions followed along these lines, probing to see if I understood To analyze a given existing UI and make observations and suggestions about how to improve it, and how I would approach designing something like that.
