Phone interview: purely about my interests. Was asked questions such as "what brand do you admire and why?" On-Site interview: The questions were unique to my presentation and was asked to apply that to something at Microsoft. For example, I showed an interest in animation, so I was asked to apply that to MS Excel, or how that could help improve X feature in Excel.

I was interviewing for a UX job and I was asked how I design a storage redundancy system for a data center. It wasn’t really a hard question but stood out because it had nothing to do with UX or general work experiences.
