I received two tasks which were supposed to be research related but were rather from Design. But these were a) not clear and b) not assessing my research skills or soft skills in terms of planning projects with non-researchers.
I was given tasks which are research related. These made sense and the tasks were super clear.

As part of the interview process, beyond the typical experience-based questions, I was asked to present and explain a previous project in detail. There was also a live whiteboard exercise with some team members, aimed at collaboratively showcasing how you approach a project.
