Do you see employment in Grill'd as a longterm job?
They are interested in knowing how adaptable you are to boat life. Living in a small shared living quarters and literally living at your job is not for everyone. Know yourself and your limitations before you apply for a job like this-- it can be a great gig for someone who enjoys travel and isn't tied down to one location. The money isn't stellar, but then again, you won't have food or rent expenses while living on the boat so it's a trade off. Also, I had applied to this company a few weeks ago and heard nothing back. I think what pushed my application in to the 'active' category was touching base with the main office. I only did this because I was coming off another boat (different company) and was in the area for a short while. I don't think generally speaking they want you contacting them directly, but sometimes you have to do that with online applications because it is so easy to fall into a 'black hole' and disappear without a real person ever seeing your application. You might need to do something to stand out a little.
