My interview process at Zehrs was straightforward and customer-service oriented. After applying online, I received a pre-screening call where they asked about my availability, work status, and interest in the role. Shortly after, I was invited for an in-person interview with the department manager. The interview lasted about 15–30 minutes and focused on my experience, ability to handle a fast-paced environment, and customer service skills. They asked questions such as why I wanted to work at Zehrs, how I would handle an upset customer, and whether I was comfortable with long hours and food handling. I highlighted my previous experience in customer service and multitasking and provided examples of how I handled difficult situations professionally. After the interview, I was offered the position and went through onboarding and training, where I learned about health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and customer service policies. This process prepared me well for my role as a Bakery Clerk, where I balanced multiple responsibilities while ensuring excellent customer service.
