As a Maintenance Technician-Millwright, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on sawmill equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, including conveyors, motors, pneumatic systems, and production machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls during production to support continuous operations.
• Complete maintenance projects independently from start to finish.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment as needed.
• Conduct maintenance during both production hours and scheduled downtime.
• Maintain the Pump House and Wood Boiler systems to support facility operations.
• Assist with general mill and building maintenance tasks.
• Monitor parts inventory and communicate supply needs to ensure readiness.
• Accurately complete daily maintenance reports and timesheets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and proper use of PPE.
• Participate in weekly maintenance meetings to support team coordination and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing, or sawmill environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Experience operating hoists, lifts, cranes, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Compensation

Competitive wages based on experience. Overtime opportunities available. Schedule includes MondayFriday shifts (4:00 AM 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM 4:00 PM, subject to change) and every other Saturday (6:00 AM 12:00 PM).
