HHP produces hardwood lumber, custom wood pallets, and pulp wood chips for use in specialty wood products. The company owns tree farms in three counties in New Hampshire and uses native hardwood timber species for its products. These include red oak (two-thirds of its production), hard maple (more than 20%), soft maple, ash, white birch, and yellow birch. HHP operates a sawmill in Henniker, New Hampshire, which annually produces 8 million board ft. of green hardwood lumber. The company was founded in 1966 and is owned by company president Ross D'Elia and VP Richard Carrier.
