Pay Range:
$28.55 - $42.85EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED equivalent and five years' experience in supply chain, warehouse, materials management or logistics management.
Associates degree preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Supervises staff according to operating policies and procedures for Materials Management. Ensures security, safety, and delivery standards are met.
2. Ensures the accuracy of receiving, storage and distribution of all inventory and direct outside purchases.
3. Establishes safeguards to protect materials from damage, unnecessary obsolescence due to poor stock rotation and theft.
4. Demonstrates responsibility for personal development by participating in continuing education offerings and department/hospital activities.
5. Supervises Materials Management processes and serves as the liaison with the nursing units personnel and other staff and affiliates.
6. Assists manager in creation of policies and procedures for all related workflow activities and performance. Trains department personnel on policies.
7. Utilizes strong and effective communication skills to both employees and upper management. Able to clearly communicate and present ideas.
8. Completes departmental analyses as requested by Manager utilizing various analytical tools. Analyzes material flow and recommends actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
9. Presents findings and recommendations in timely manner.
10. Understands and fully maximizes use of ERP system. Drives department toward increased utilization and functionality.
11. Develops and maintains strong customer service relationships. Ensures issues are quickly and appropriately resolved. Makes internal process changes when necessary.
12. Maintains metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training and safety records.
13. Protects self, co-workers and facility by following approved policies and procedure to ensure employee and patient safety and a safe work environment.
