AMS Technologies, LLC was founded in Columbia, MD by Sean Robinson in January 2010. Sean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer from Morgan State University, a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an Executive MBA from Loyola University Maryland. AMS is the culmination of his formal education and over 20 years of experience resulting in innovative strategies and unprecedented insight on technological solutions for our customers' ever changing needs.
Working for large IT corporations early in his career, Sean saw how major decisions could take forever or how slight course corrections on a project could get lost in the bureaucratic shuffle. AMS was built and designed to keep the company nimble and agile, quick to respond to customers’ needs while keeping the entrepreneurial spirit at its core.
AMS's practice is focused around three distinct enclaves; Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, and Program/Project management. Our niche skillset is IT Network Modeling, Engineering, and Design which cuts horizontally across our three disciplines. By being horizontally integrated, we can provide our customers a complete package with our offerings.
