Schmidt, founded in 1920 in St. Blasien (Germany), has production sites in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland. Its complex portfolio includes an extensive range of products and solutions for municipal winter and summer maintenance services, as well as for airport, vehicle and rail technology. The Nido brand has been part of the portfolio since 1983. Nido was founded in the Netherlands in 1949 and is a pioneer of pre-wetted salt processing.
