Description For COGECO, the ABCs of business are advertising, broadcasting, and cable. The Canadian holding company has interests in cable and radio stations and owns the majority of Cogeco Cable, which provides cable TV, Internet, and phone service to subscribers in Ontario and Québec. (In Portugal, Cogeco Cable owns Cabovisão). Subsidiary Cogeco Diffusion Inc. owns and operates 13 radio stations in Québec. It also owns a joint venture with Corus Entertainment called Groupe Force Radio Inc. to sell advertising time to about 20 COGECO and Corus-owned radio stations. Gestion Audem Inc., a private company owned by CEO Louis Audet's family, controls COGECO's voting rights.
