Description Dunavant Enterprises bid adieu to King Cotton to travel the world as a global logistics provider. Once one of the world's largest cotton traders, the firm sold its cotton business to Allenberg Cotton Co. (owned by France's Louis Dreyfus Corporation) in 2010 to focus on building a global logistics operation. It's using its experience and connections in cotton and transportation to build the new Dunavant Global Logistics Group. The firm's two other divisions focus on real estate development and investments under the Dunavant Investments umbrella. Founded in 1960, Dunavant Enterprises is owned by the Dunavant family and is run by CEO Bill Dunavant.
