Description Puget Sounders can earn their sheepskins at The Evergreen State College. The public liberal arts and sciences college, the largest of its type in Washington state, offers a variety of undergraduate degrees as well as graduate-level programs in environmental studies, public administration, and education. Evergreen is known for its unusual approach to learning; students enroll in comprehensive programs rather than a series of separate classes and courses are taught by teams of two to four professors. Students then receive "narrative" evaluations rather than traditional letter grades. Student enrollment is approximately 4,500 with tuition at about $4,000 per year. Evergreen State College was founded in 1967.
