Description Metropolitan Market is the Pacific Northwest’s premier local grocer. First opened in 1971 on Queen Anne Hill, we now have ten busy locations, five in Seattle and five others in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Sammamish, Kirkland, and on Mercer Island respectively.

Discover our full-service butcher shop, a cheese shop boasting more than 250 types of cheeses from all over the world, and fresh produce from the same farmers we’ve worked with for decades. Explore our carefully curated wine and spirits selection that rivals the best shops in town, an amazing deli selection with real flame-roasting ovens, and a bakery that always fills the store with the smell of freshly pulled espresso shots and melted chocolate. And behind all of it? An amazing team of passionate people, all working together to celebrate food and community.
