Mission New England Village’s (NEV) mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their potential and pursue their dreams through innovative pro- grams and community living. NEV’s vision is to be a community rich with opportunity, sharing and growth.
Description NEV’s headquarters is located on a beautifully wooded 80-acre site in Pembroke, Massachusetts. It has grown and changed since the first 13 residents moved into their newly constructed homes over 40 years ago. Today, there are 17 freestanding, impeccably maintained houses, where 79 people with varying degrees of developmental disability live. NEV also owns two other buildings in Kingston and Hanson that support the NEV day programs, operates the Colchester Neighborhood Farm in Plympton, and two social enterprises – a landscaping company and a cleaning service.

Over the years, NEV has evolved to become more than just a place to live. It is a key provider of services to resident and non-resident people with disabilities that offers a wide range of opportunities to participate in meaningful day and enrichment programming. More than 160 people are served through a highly individualized approach to residential living, day services, and community programming.
