With annual sales of more than $5 billion, we partner with the best retailers, restaurants, distributors and food manufacturers around the globe. We also recognize our responsibility to do good in the world and are driven to make a difference in everything we do.
Life & Culture - We call ourselves partners – not employees – and there’s a good reason behind that. Our work is more than just a job. Our common goals drive and energize us as we work together to be the best we can be.
Caring is a huge part of who we are. We not only help each other grow; we take care of each other along the way. Whenever a partner is experiencing a hardship, it’s common for others to take the initiative to organize fundraisers to help support them through our Partners Helping Partners program. We also care about our communities and want to help make them better places to live every day.
At Johnsonville, our members are responsible for everything! If you're passionate about making a difference, we want you to help make our products, our processes, our communities and each other better.

The Darigold brand legacy began in 1918.
Headquartered in Seattle, Darigold, Inc. is the marketing and processing subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association (NDA), which is owned by around 350 dairy farm families in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. One of the largest US dairy processors, Darigold produces a full line of dairy-based products for retail, foodservice, commodity and specialty markets. We operate 11 plants throughout the Northwest.
A Darigold year involves a lot of milk, butter, cheese and plenty of coffee with cream to keep us fueled for the 24-7-365 effort it takes to get milk and dairy products from farm to fridge.
Darigold employs nearly 1,900 people
Darigold handles approximately 10 billion pounds of milk annually
We operate 11 processing facilities located in close proximity to the roughly 350 northwest dairy farms that supply the milk.
Those plants turn milk into hundreds of different dairy products from fresh local favorites like 2% cottage cheese, to ingredient milk powders.
Darigold sends upward of 40 percent of its production to customers in 30+ foreign markets, the largest being Mexico.
A spirit of innovation has defined us since 1873. From our roots as a bathtub manufacturer, the creativity and entrepreneurial energy of our associates has built us into one of America’s oldest and largest privately held companies.
Today, we manufacture smart kitchen and bath products and host world-class hospitality experiences. We challenge our own conventions and stretch our imaginations every day—to enhance the quality of life for current and future generations.
Fueled by the passion of 28,000 associates worldwide, our mission is to help people live gracious, healthy, and sustainable lives. At Kohler Co., your work matters.
Let’s aspire and inspire together, create together, and move forward together.

The story of Vital Farms begins back in 2007 on a 27 acre family farm in Austin, TX. Our founders were soon selling to Farmers’ Markets around Austin, and were quickly discovered by Whole Foods’ wonderful local foragers, who started selling the newly branded ‘Vital Farms’ Pasture-Raised Organic Eggs in 2008.
As we grew, we didn’t make our farm bigger. Instead, we found more like-minded farmers who put the welfare of the animals first. Today, over 350 small family farms commit to our exacting standards and the farming practices that we believe are best for the animals and the land, providing pasture-raised eggs and butter to folks nationwide.
Our purpose is rooted in a commitment to Conscious Capitalism, which prioritizes long-term benefits to each of our stakeholders. In 2016 we were recognized as a Certified B-Corp.
