Description In a rough and tumble world, Zotefoams is there to protect you from life's bumps and bruises. It makes foam used in protective padding used in sports equipment, healthcare products, automobiles, toys, life jackets, and packaging. The company's polyolefin foams are manufactured through a nitrogen expansion process with brand names such as Azote, Plastazote, Evazote, and Propozote. Zotefoams also makes high-performance polymers (HPP) for the aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor industries. The company's MuCell Extrusion (MEL) subsidiary develops and licenses a microcellular foam extrusion molding technology. Europe accounts for about two-thirds of Zotefoams' sales.
