Management is disorganized, they care more about competing with each other over who has what responsibilities, instead of managing the company. They set ridiculous expectations, but don't give you the tools or support you need to succeed. They play favorites, and if you fail to meet these expectations, your branch is basically forgotten about. Despite being part of the same company, some branches are openly hostile to each other and like to start drama. I would consider this to be a toxic work environment. This branch was severely understaffed, most days I barely had 10 minutes to eat lunch, if I got a break at all. Usually, we would work through lunch, but then we would get in trouble for having overtime. For some reason, all time off requests had to be approved by a senior manager, who likes to play 20 questions and make you justify why you need the time off, even if you have the PTO hours. You're only allowed to take 5 days of PTO off at a time, even if you have more hours.
