Pros

Amazing benefits, managers really care about employees, fun and exciting work environment, high quality food for employees that is super cheap, treated like family.

Cons

Pretty boring, just doing the same thing over and over, but this is the reason for the amazing benefits.

Pros

I work from home and what could be better than that? Plus-I chose my perfect schedule which is so rare with any other company I've heard of! My managers are all so down to earth and super friendly!! I love love love working for 1800CONTACTS!

Cons

It's not a negative thing, but you do have to learn a TON in training. That is why they choose the best employees (wink wink)

We have an outstanding culture and work environment here at 1-800 CONTACTS. As mentioned in this review, this really is a great place to work and the majority of our associates would second this 5 star rating. For the majority of our Customer Service Representatives, this is a very rewarding career. Empowered with the tools needed to truly take care of the customer, our associates thrive in this role and are recognized for their efforts through our incentive bonus program and through customer fan-mail. That being said, working on the phones simply isn’t for everyone. And that’s perfectly okay. This position requires being on the phone for one’s entire shift, talking to customers from all over the world with a variety of needs, upselling, and providing true customer service. We strive to make this position and its requirements as transparent as possible through our job description online, by providing a realistic job preview during the interview process, and by making ourselves available to answer any questions during the interview and job offer. While a significant number of our advancement opportunities are filled by associates that started in the Call Center, Customer Service isn’t the only avenue to start a career with 1-800 CONTACTS.
