Good Design Office But With a Price
Pros
- World class and very international design employees - Genuinely caring HR - If you're into form-making designs and nice renderings,its the place to be - Casual attitude office. Bosses and employees are friends inside and outside - Pool table and table tennis. Staffs are allowed to play at anytime they want - If you're a party animal,its the place to be - Few good bosses encourage personal achievements outside office - Colleagues are very supportive,no obvious internal competitions
Cons
- Bad work-life balance. Late nights and weekends are very usual - A few big bosses with bad attitude,extreme micromanaging and they play favourites supremely. Very demotivating. - 90% projects are purely design works with no exposure to construction. Good place to learn interesting design concepts and schematics,but bad place to learn detailing and construction.Some projects looked good in concept but turned out very bad after completion due to very little involvement during construction - Simply put. Nice design on papers,but underwhelming and mediocre built quality - Due to above point, some projects seem to be at just surface level. Not rigorous. - No bonus for many-many years - Salary increment is rather low - Highly western party culture in the office might sometimes be exhausting to employees who just want to work and nothing else
