Limited career growth options. You tend to get pigeon-holed into a game title and keep doing the same things year over year. Management unable to help much, too much left to whims of the game studios. If the studio wants you to be the dedicated analyst on one title, you are stuck there and don't have the opportunities to push out of your comfort zone and achieve impact with your work. Then they refuse to promote you claiming that you didn't achieve enough impact.
