Not as good as it used to be

Pros

I like the crew I work with. Your experience may vary. It’s a fairly fast-paced environment, which could be good or bad. There’s always something to keep you busy, so shifts usually go by quickly. And most of the customers are great.

Cons

On your feet all day with no breaks. Rude customers sometimes. Pay isn’t as good as it used to be. My pay scale is no longer typical. Oklahoma 7-Elevens used to be family-owned but they were bought out by corporate a few years ago, and ever since they hire for much lower pay. Supervisors micro manage and corporate has been cutting hours lately. No guaranteed schedules.
