Pros

There are no pro's unless the manager likes you!!!!!

Cons

There are too many too list. You work like a dog and get nothing in return. If you re lucky, you will get maybe $00.13 raise a year. It is the sweat shop of the good old USA!!!!! I worked there for over 6 years and was harassed by 1 manager for over a year, went to his boss 3 times and corporate 2 times and never heard from anyone. Most of the time they hire people that do nothing and if you are a good worker, you will end up doing everything. I was promised assistant for a couple years but they sold the store and then I had to transfer and thats where I had to deal with a manager that should never be in charge of anything. He was abusive!!!!!! I was the only one left out of the original crew and told him the only reason I was still there was because I needed the medical other wise I would have been gone a long time ago.I blame Corporate because they did nothing about it and never contacted me like they said they would.

Pros

Gives you the skills to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.

Cons

The expect you travel from store to store when there are no stores available or they sell you off to the franchisees that are buying your specific store.

Pros

Good working environment. Learned a lot about ordering and forecasting. Lots of room to advance. Most managers are understanding about personal needs and would work with me with scheduling.

Cons

Sometimes I felt like I was the only one really trying my hardest to make the store look great. Some managers expected too much from me. I would be the only one working at the store and I would be asked to clean entire store, do orders (usually 300-500 items), outside trash, stock coolers, fill ice, fill cigarettes and do cigarette count all in 8hrs by myself.
