The only pros that I can think of is an excellent training program and relocation benefits

Cons

Avoid at all costs if you want any semblance of a work-life balance you will be scheduled for 48 hours a week and routinely work much more depending on your manager or area manager you will get little to no time off with little to no support. Company has a toxic culture will always give you less than what you need to do the job that is being asked of you. Reeks of good old boy culture

Thank you for your feedback on training and relocation benefits. 84 Lumber commits to training our associates about the Lumber and building materials industry. 84 Lumber associates do work indoors and out doors. We offer most full time store associates at least 48 hours per week. We pay overtime on everything over 40 hours.

The people I worked with were nice and fun

Cons

Very physical labor if at a smaller yard. Locations like Dallas that are huge have many laborers so it is much easier there.

Thank you for the feedback about your co-workers. 84 Lumber associates work indoors and outside. The job can be physically demanding. We do have forklifts, pallet jacks, carts and other associates to help. The number of associates that work at a store is dependent on how much business each store has. Associates at all stores work hard to get the job done everyday.
