      Pros

      Deliver product to the customer in a timely fashion. Check that the order is correct and make sure that the product is not damaged.

      Pros

      If you are in the "good ol' boys club" you can get promoted faster even if you aren't a hard worker.

      Cons

      Long hours, you can be an excellent worker and they won't do anything to help you succeed,LOW PAY, will find loop holes to not pay you well earned bonuses, you could sell 1 million dollars in one month and instead of upper management congratulating you, they ask why you didn't sell more, constant hiring because turn over is so high and it's not because of promotions, it's because the job is terrible and people end up quitting. If you enjoy spending time with family and friends-working here you will not see them as much for a company who claims to be family oriented.

      Great opportunity to advance your career in a number of paths. Management, Sales, Corporate are all ways you can choose from.

      Cons

      If you have never worked at a lumber yard before you will have a steep learning curve and the base pay is not good.
