Pros

-The minimum pay is decent for a starting position -The equipment isnt too bad although they stress you need 3 screens when in fact you really dont. Its a waste of equipment just sitting.

Cons

Where to start.. First off this is NOT a manager position-the title is extremely misleading. This is a SALES position, you are and SDR and nothing more. I do not understand WHY they have it labeled as a manager, because it is not. Personally I would not have taken the job had it been described more as a sales role than manager role, it was described to me a lot difference than what I have experienced. The people they hire for this role are extremely talented and have awesome resumes, who could make some great sales but they train it as a relationship building type of sales cycle but its is 100% NOT that, it is transactional to the fullest. The leads are AWFUL. As someone who has a significant sales background and have closed numerous large accounts, these leads are all recycled from people who have been fired or have left. The information for these leads are not great. Everything needs a significant overhaul, like they need to shut the company down for a month and restart because whoever was running the show has it completely unorganized and screwed up. I was also told I would not be micromanaged, and that is far from the case. You have so many meetings and youre talked to as if you have never done this before. There is absolutely no work life balance. You cant take a phone call, leave your desk, or take a snack break without them asking why you arent on the phone. We are adults, not children. They expect you to make 100 calls a day, make 15 sales a month when there is about 70 HCAMS and we are all sharing minimal leads. You also have to fix leads, prospect and get better information all while making sure youre dialing literally all day long.
