      Pros

      AR Mazzotta is unlike any other agency I have used. The interview portion lasted about a half hour, which is MUCH longer than other staffing agencies I've registered with. The Recruiters are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I have been employed by AR Mazzotta for a little over 2 months now (temp-to-hire) and would highly recommend them to anyone in the job market. I don't feel like any agencies in CT compare.

      Pros

      I have worked with A.R. Mazzotta for many years and have always had a great experience. Finding myself between jobs due to lay-offs and faced with an over-qualified/under-qualified situation my job search was nothing but challenging. After signing up with many agencies it was suggested I contact A.R. Mazzotta. This was the best decision! The recruiters in the Wallingford office worked hard to present me to companies which would utilize my skills. They helped hiring managers to see past my previous job titles and understand that I was willing to start in an entry level position. In took a little bit of time, but the team set up interviews and placed me in several temp assignments over the years. The assignments gave me great experience to add to my resume and opened the door to my current position.

      I wish I could list some.

      Client abruptly ended my assignment and A.R. Mazzotta blocked my ability to receive unemployment compensation through the State of CT while I searched for another job. Pitched the assignment that I was in as 'admin' when it clearly was anything but. Strange company and culture; everyone at the company seemed absolutely miserable. Will never seek to work with them again. Hourly rate was ridiculously low!

      Sad to read this review. Every day we work very hard to place people in appropriate work. We gave you an opportunity for a job assignment that didn’t work out. We cannot “block” unemployment. No company can. The State of CT Unemployment decides based on facts provided by the employee and the employer. I wish you much success.
