Pros

It's easy and some of your coworkers are willing to help you succeed.

Cons

The management is very unorganized, they don't train you and expect you to get everything right away. The magnets are rude and if you have any questions they turn it around and make you sound like the bad guy and roll their eyes at you. This place is a joke honestly and is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They pick a couple people they favor and treat everyone Badly. I advise anyone who tries to get a job here to not apply. They at elite than willing to get rid of you with any mistake you make. They also make you have a bathroom pass to even just get up out of your seat. They treat you like a child and not the adult you are. Very unprofessional.

Pros

The people I work with (co-workers) are great. The customers, for the most part, were great and you get a good sense of satisfaction when you help someone.

Cons

I usually do not right bad reviews. There is no perfect company and I believe most places try to do the right thing... But, A1 Garage has treated me so badly that I feel that I have no choice. It has been 2 months since my accident and I have not received a single penny from workman’s comp and I haven't heard from A1 Garage since the second week that I was hurt (7 weeks ago) even though I have emailed them often with no response. Here is my story: I worked for A1 Garage and I was hurt on a job scene. I went to the doctor and was treated. Because of my injury, I have not been able to work for the last 2 months. I called the insurance agency (workman’s comp) about 3 weeks ago because I have not received any of my compensation. They sent me a letter saying that I was to receive pay based on the $19.00 a day they calculated that I was making while I was working full time... Yes, you read that right... A1 Garage told the insurance company I was averaging $19.00 a day while I was working (that’s actually illegal... less than minimum wage) ... I emailed A1 Garage to see why they calculated my rate at $19.00 a day and it turns out that they told the insurance company to average in about 3 weeks that I did not actually work and that brought my average down to $19.00 a day... I thought, hey, it was probably just a mistake... I emailed A1 Garage and asked them to fix the error and it has been 3 weeks now and they have not done anything to fix it. A1 Garage is a company that will try to take advantage of you any way they can. If you choose to work for them please be aware that they may seem very nice to you in interviews and the managers and owner seems nice when they meet you but once something goes wrong, you will never hear from them again... Hell, as far as I know, I am still working for them. No one will get back to me and tell me otherwise. I have had to move out of my apartment and in with a relative to avoided eviction because A1 Garage is to cheap the pay what they owe. If you are supporting a family do not work for them. They are trying to expand to different markets and will tell you whatever to get you hired. You will see some very good customer reviews for A1 Garage... There reviews are great because they absolutely treat their customers much better then then their employees. I have kept in contact with some employees that still work with A1 and they are not happy with the job, but feel stuck because the job market is what it is right now... Employee Beware!!! If they don’t fix this, I am going to have to appeal this and wait another couple of months to get what is owed to me. If this happens to you don’t let them get away with this. And, if you work in Nevada, the state will supply you with a lawyer free of charge if you have to go past the appeals process.
