Patronizing, crazymaking leadership

The pay was decent and there were some talented employees who were trying to do the right thing.

Cons

Terrible leadership and no accountability. One of the VPs regularly patronized, humiliated and gaslit me when I worked there. This person was constantly changing the goalposts. One day they wanted one thing, and the next day they wanted something completely different. They would make it seem like I was the crazy one who wasn't delivering. Quintessential narcissist.

I have loved working at AAA Life, largely because of the people. I work with incredibly dedicated and passionate people. I didn't expect to find that at life insurance company, but I have been pleasantly surprised! The company is being led by a solid CEO and the future looks positive.

Cons

The company is going through a major growth period, so all of the expected growing pains have come along with that. The company needs to keep working toward departmental alignment and cohesion. I think once that's achieved, the sky's the limit!
