Pros

Great pay and benefits. Politically connected board members. No company debt. Exempt employees treated with respect and trust.

Cons

Revolving door policy almost to the top. Not a career company for most. Focus is numbers, not quality. Safety violations and general lack of regard for not exempt employees. Sweat shop feel. Kind of place that getting a raise makes you feel dirty.

Pros

Good place to be an engineer, lots of opportunities to move around and try new things from applications, to manufacturing, controls, and R&D work. Stock option rewards and quartly profit sharing is also a nice plus.

Cons

Health insurance isn't the best for a family. PTO is just ok, you don't get any increase to awarded PTO until you've worked there for 7 years. They have a weird "clock in" system for salaried people that does nothing but create a weird culture of watching your hours even if you have no reason to.
