Management was not on the ball with those who had a poor work ethic, which made it harder for those that came to work, adding to the work load. Pay can always be better, as with any job. But it was hard to keep the good guys...the majors make way more money. Nature of the beast, I guess.

The management could care less about its employees. The turnover rate is so high that they are forced to bring in people who have never picked up a tool let alone worked on a plane. HR likes to hire back people they have fired before and refuse to hire back people who quit and tried to come back as a contractor. Some of the inspectors make it harder on the mechanics by rejecting them for little things and not actually working with them to get the plane out on time and safely. MOST of the supervisors frankly just sit around smoking on their vapes and on their phones and then turn around and complain that those under them are not doing things fast enough. Frankly it is all just a good ole boy system.
