Pros

Location, benefits, competitive pay, work life balance, real focus on the engagement of employees, interesting part of town (next to Verizon center), convenient to mass transit, well resourced

Cons

Long term employees entrenched in their jobs with little incentive to change. Struggled with identity as business versus membership/lobbying organization.

Pros

Work life balance is a real thing here. Working from home, telecommuting, teleworking are all possibilities.

Cons

Executives all think alike and always put a positive spin on everything. There is never any bad news from senior management. They'll go to any length to make things look good.

Pros

Great place to work; great perks. Plenty room for growth. Talented and committed employees. Great cross-collaboration opportunities.

Cons

Inconsistency in management; connected, sub-par managers are protected; constant organizational change, not always for the better; renewal - after 7 years of continuous employment, full-time staff are granted one month of paid leave to recharge/reenergize.
