Pros

Great mission and talented and committed staff across the organization. AARP's reputation, resources and national and state presence allow for a major impact on issues. Benefits are impossible to beat.

Cons

Because the organization is so large, change is slow and every new initiative requires lengthy coordination across every department. You spend most of every day in internal meetings.
