Pros

Good perks. Good people at the lower levels.

Cons

No growth opportunities. Company culture doesn't support career growth. Company fosters a lack of opportunity with their "promotion" restrictions. Salary offering is well below industry averages. Basically, AARP wants you to be loyal without recognizing your efforts and contributions.

Pros

Great benefits...if you have full-time status.

Cons

A staggering percentage of employees here are temporary/contract employees, which I assume is a way for AARP to save money on benefits. "TMP" is like a stamp of shame, and you're made to feel like an "other."

Pros

Great people who are friendly and helpful.

Cons

The mission is often lost in the midst of a lot of bureaucracy. Hard to accomplish anything due to red tape and constant changing of prioroties
