Pros

Aarp has great benefits. The offices are very nice and the people are very friendly. The location downtown is close to the metro and several nice restaurants

Cons

Very structured organization.. similar to working for the government. People are very title conscious and follow protocol very closely. It is not a place for free thinkers.

Pros

Pension program is wonderful and transfers to your spouse if you die. Use to have a "family" environment but no longer.

Cons

IT Department is too trendy and has attempted for years to convert to a sourced business model. Too many PM's without technical knowledge
