Pros

They have pretty decent benefits for an entry level position, and their training program is one of the best that I have seen. It is very thorough and helped me be well prepared for the job. I have been in training for the past 5-6 weeks and while still getting accustomed I know I was well prepared. The staff are nice to work with, most of them very friendly and welcoming.

Cons

While they are welcoming, they do make it clear that we are replaceable and honestly I think that is a bad foot to start with regarding new hires. It sets people on edge, and puts on a ton of stress. The software used by agents is very outdated and while it is relatively simple to use for some, others experience more difficulty with it. The biggest issue is what is expected in regards to abusive customers. There seems to be no recourse for agents that are being abused by a member calling in, and this sets for a very hostile environment even if it is only part of the time.

Thank you very much for your honest feedback. We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to create a better experience for our employees and clients. We understand that there is opportunity for progress in this area and are making strides toward that goal each and every day. Our purpose at ABC is to “Create Raving Fans” in our members and clients. This requires that we implement our very best customer service skills in attempt to find a resolution to the questions and concerns of all callers. We understand this may be challenging for some and that our expectations to provide excellent customer service (no matter how the member is feeling) are immense. It is imbedded into our culture to be fast, friendly and give 110% at every interaction. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. If you have any suggestion for improving our recruiting and training to better prepare employees for the nature of the calls, we would love to hear from you.
